Important Details:

  • Arrive at least 5 minutes before class, if you are late you will miss the very important warm up.
  • Workout clothes must be worn as we do a lot of stretching and moving in the class.  The most important thing is that you are comfortable in what you are wearing.
  • A Towel will be required as you do get very sweaty in this workout.
  • Best shoes to wear are: Tennis shoes or "aerobic" shoes – wear shoes that do not have a lot of tread at the bottom and are meant for medial/lateral/twisting motion. Running shoes and cross training shoes are not ideal because of the tread and also they are meant more for forward motion. Jazz sneakers are fine too. Any old shoe where the bottom is worn out is good so that you can twist and move easily..  You WILL not be able to join in the class if you are not wearing shoes, socks and bare feet are not suitable for this workout.
  • Water or hydration is a must, as you will sweat a lot you will need to replace your fluids, make sure you bring a bottle of water with you.
    Be prepared some of the steps and actions we do will feel a little strange to start off with, however stick with them, practice the moves and actions and you will find through the repetition of the movements that you will soon find it second nature.
  • Go at your own pace, we will start with simple basic moves and build up to more advanced variations of those basic moves, try and follow along but feel free to move at your own pace and move up to the more advanced steps when you are comfortable to do so.
  • Take a drink break when you need to, the program is designed so that we do not take many or any breaks during the 1 hour workshop, but listen to your body, take a drink break when you need one, it's not a competition so listen to your body.
  • But most of all be prepared to HAVE LOTS OF FUN!
